In INTERACT we have some very fun things coming up. Right now we are just getting ready to start our Refuge Starter Kits with simple hygiene products. The list includes things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and other bathroom hygiene products. Another event coming up is December 1st we are having a cozy sock & warm blanket drive in the front of the school for the day of giving. Interact Club’s next meeting is November 17th 2021. The Fish Food Bank is a place for families in need to get the things they need-- baby stuff, food, fresh produce, clothes, hygiene products -- and.... they can give you a 50 dollar gas card if that’s what you need.
All you have to do is bring in one of your utility bills and show it to them. No questions are asked. You can then get some food.
However, this year you can’t walk into the actual store part where they have all the food. You just tell them what you want and they will try their best to get it. If you would like to donate food or toys you can just call them and tell them you are bringing things and they will happily accept the donation.
Also there is a toy drive coming up and they want all donations by December 11th.

There is a way to help kids get into college, and it’s called FAFSA. It’s been around for over 50 years and it helps everyone who applies. The basics are this: with your information and your parent’s information, you get a low interest loan or a grant that you don’t have to pay back to get you into higher education.
