In a Pinch
How many times have you opened your fridge only for it to be as barren as the Sahara Desert? We’ve all been there and done that, but no more shall you have to go hungry! In the following recipe, I will teach you how to make a gooey, mouth-watering grilled cheese sandwich with five ingredients or less.
Cheese is one of the greatest ingredients to ever exist. Chances are you have at least some kind of cheese in your fridge, such as a sharp or medium cheddar (which is the most common for grilled cheese sandwiches) but you could also try swiss or mozzarella. Read on to learn how to make one classic American meal: A crispy grilled cheese sandwich with soup.

Read on to learn how to make one classic American meal: A crispy grilled cheese sandwich with soup.
Ingredients
Step 1: Place a pan on a burner and set it on medium-low heat (flick some water on the pan till you hear a *tss*), and put half of your butter into the pan. ` Step 2: Prepare your sandwich while your pan is being brought to temp. You should slice your cheese thinly so it melts evenly. Put the cheese you just sliced onto a piece of bread so that it does not hang off the edge. After that, place your second slice on top. Step 3: By now the butter should be melted so spread it around so that it covers the bottom of your pan evenly. After that put your sandwich in and cover it with a lid. Leave it cooking for about 2 minutes then put the rest of your butter in. Step 4 After the butter has melted, flip the sandwich and use it to spread the butter around. Now put the lid back on and cook for about 30 seconds - 1 minute. Be sure to check the sandwich periodically to make sure it doesn’t burn. |
Step 5: Take the sandwich out of your pan and plate it. While you are waiting for it to cool a bit heat up whatever can of soup you chose. Pour your soup into a bowl and your meal is ready.

A lot of people struggle with suicidal urges, especially in high school, and I want you to know you are not alone. Some coping skills are: going for a walk, calling a friend or even putting ice cubes in your hand and squeezing them in your palms. These can help if you think you want to hurt yourself.
Here are hotlines you can call. So use them! |
If you are struggling with any of these problems remember you are valid, you deserve help and you deserve a healthy, happy life.

Artist of the month is Zack
When asked what his favorite piece of artwork was , Zach informed me “Sunflowers” by Vincent Van Gogh is his favorite piece. For early art influence he said that a Bob Ross painting inspired him when he was young and he has been doing art since he was 5 or 6 years old. I asked him who his favorite artist was and he said “Hayao Miazaki” who some may know from making the movie “My Neighbor Totoro.”
